Where it started..
Growing up surrounded by artistic family members who loved anything from drawing to sewing and with a Dad who could turn his hand to anything, it wasn't surprising that siblings, Emma and Nick had that creative flair too. Emma, who has a love for the stage, joined a local amateur dramatics group in her early teens and regularly visits the theatre. Nick has always had a passion for art and design and is always bursting with ideas of props to build next. Working for the family building company for over 10 years has taught them the skills they need to help turn their visions into reality.
What started off with fancy dress ideas that had to always be above and beyond everyone else's, soon turned into props and scenery building just for fun. Nick's love of Marvel comics soon got us into the Comic Con scene, with the Jurassic Park Gates as our first display. The gates and Rexy, our inflatable T-Rex (also known as our cousin Lewis) were always really popular for photo opportunities with both children and adults. Emma's love was Harry Potter, so it was no surprise that a H.P themed scene was next on the cards. Welcome Platform ​9 3⁄4.
